- CRT static — analog snow overlay on Retro (canvas grain). Settings → CRT static: Off / Low / Med / High. Off on Aero. Saved in the browser.
- Spanish — NWS local-forecast phrase map + ASCII-safe labels (Star4000 has no accents). TTS picks a Spanish voice when ES is on.
- Favorites — × on each chip to remove (no right-click required).
- Almanac — one panel, no scrollbar. Moon phases in a single row so sun, AQI/tides, phases, and meteor footer all fit.
- Regional list — holds ~3s at the bottom and ~2s at the top before looping. Northeast city list expanded so it actually scrolls.

- Bugfix — Language (EN/ES) and Favorites star now wire on load; Almanac AQI, tides, and sunrise arc actually fill.
- Gust sanity — clamps absurd observation gusts (e.g. 91 mph with 9 mph sustained).
- GPS on HTTP — clear message when 📍 is blocked on non-HTTPS hosts (use search or share link instead).
- Aero wallpapers — nine Frutiger Aero / Metro backgrounds in the crossfade rotation.
- Regional list — map removed; auto-scrolling city rows (name · condition · temp). Tap a row to load that city.
- Favorites — ☆ saves current city (up to 5); chips under search; right-click chip to remove.
- Almanac extras — sunrise arc, US AQI (Open-Meteo), tides near NOAA stations when coastal.

- Almanac sizing — tuned for 1080p laptop screens (still readable on large monitors / mobile).

- Tropical Weather panel — NHC 2-day/7-day Graphical Tropical Weather Outlook (Atlantic, E. Pacific, C. Pacific) + active storm list from NHC CurrentStorms.json.
- Almanac panel — classic layout: sunrise/sunset for today + tomorrow, 2×2 moon phase dates (Last / New / First / Full).
- Meteor showers — notes major annual showers in the current month, with local dark-sky window for the selected city.
- Slide nav labels — bottom dots replaced with labeled buttons (Current, period names, Radar, Regional, 7-Day, Almanac, etc.).
- Local period labels — each forecast period uses a short name (Tonight, Thu, Thu Nite, …) instead of repeated “Local”.
- Mobile polish — centered current-condition icon, region buttons fully visible, header/search layout fixes.
- Clock — shows the selected city’s local time zone.
- Moon icons — original TWC Classics phase art restored for Almanac.
